(البقرة 273) نتيجة التقصي المستمر التي تقوم به مكاتب العون المباشر في إفريقيا عن حالات الأسر المتعففة، يجعلنا نصل إلى أسر تعاني الفقر المُدقع، وبالتالي يتم عمل مشاريع اقتصادية إنتاجية صغيرة الحجم لصالح هذه الأُسر. يتنوع نشاط هذه المشاريع بحسب احتياج المنطقة المحيطة بالأسرة الفقيرة، كما يقوم فريق العون بالتوجيه اللازم للأسرة القائمة على المشروع بخصوص كيفية إدارة المشروع لضمان الاستدامة، واستغناءهم تدريجيا عن المساعدات الخارجية.
