يقدّر عدد الفقراء الذين يعيشون بدولار واحدٍ في اليوم حوالي 46% من إجمالي سكان إفريقيا أي حوالي 500 مليون إنسان، يرجع ذلك إلى فقدان غالبية الشباب وأمهات الأيتام لوظائف ومصادر دائمة للدخل. تعتبر مشاريع الإنتاج الحيواني في إفريقيا من أكثر المشاريع التي تُدر ربح بشكل سريع، ويعتبر امتلاك رأس واحدة من الماشية بمثابة امتلاك مشروع بحد ذاته، وقد يغطي تكاليف أسرة كاملة. لذلك تقوم العون المباشر بدعم الأسر الفقيرة في إفريقيا من خلال إنشاء مشاريع إنتاج حيواني، بحيث تكون مصدراً مفيداً لتغذيتهم وتطوير معيشتهم. وذلك من خلال منح بقرة حلوب مع عجلها أو عشاراً محلى هجين أو مستورد لأسر المزارعين والأسر الفقيرة، ويكون متوسط عدد أفراد الأسرة 5 أفراد. Animal production is one of the projects that known in Africa with a quick profit return. So, Direct Aid supports the poor families in Africa with providing them animal production projects in order to be a sustainable resource of income, also it is a healthy source of feeding for the poor family members. In Direct Aid, we give a cow with its calf for a one poor family, and the family consists of 5 people, and the project supports 15 family. “Your continued contribution raises the income for poor families in African and provides them healthy nutrition.”
